We are pleased to announce the appointment of the Mens coaching team for the coming season.
Liam Bowman is the new men’s head coach and will be joined by his brother Geoff as assistant coach.
Liam is a past Club Captain who brings a wealth of playing experience to his new role, a first XV player for Rockcliff for 20 years captaining the side from 2016-2018 also representing the Army masters for many years gaining 12 caps, 4 as captain. Most recently Liam has been Head coach of the Rockcliff Roses who had a successful season. Liam said “I’m really looking forward to the challenge of taking on the Head coach role and the coming season”.
Geoff has been a Rockcliff player for 21 years representing firstXV and Vikings on many occasions also going on to play Army masters alongside Liam. Most recently coaching Rockcliffs future Roses in the u16s. Geoff said “I’m really excited to be part of a new period at Rockcliff Rugby Club, with the pool of players and facilities we have the future is bright”
