Whitley Bay Rockcliff Men’s Rugby is back and gearing up for an exciting new season! 💪🔥
The team are back in training for pre-season, and we are recruiting! Training is every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00pm to 8:30pm, and we welcome people with all range of experience. Whether you are completely new to the sport, keen to take rugby back up after some time off, or a seasoned player with years of experience, everybody will be given a warm welcome!
Whether you are looking for an opportunity to get fit, play the sport we all love, learn or upskill in the game, or even if you’re just keen to have some fun, there is something for everyone! With plenty of social opportunities on the side too, you’re sure to have a great time!
The 1st XV and 2nd XV (Whitley Bay Rockcliff Vikings) are always looking for new players, and there is plenty of coaching available at training. After finishing last season 3rd in the league, the 1st XV will be looking to go out strong in Counties 2 North East (North), led by club captain Niall Stokes, and vice-captain Kieran Tweedy. Meanwhile the Vikings will be battling it out in Candy 1 League, captained by Michael Marvell.
